Weems Creek Residence

This property is located is West Annapolis, overlooking Weems Creek and the Severn River. As part of the total renovation of both house and property, we were hired to install all hardscape and landscape. The scope of work included a new paver driveway wrapped in granite cobble, as well as building new entry and breezeway walks of patterned bluestone. Formal boxwood hedges define the planting along the front of the house with flowering shrubs and perennials for color. In the rear the only existing element to remain was the pool shell. The pool was completely refurbished, including bull nosed bluestone coping, new tile and a Pebbletec interior. The pool deck was reconfigured and new patterned bluestone installed there as well.  Contrasting textures of lushly planted beds offer color and serve to  soften the new hardscapes.  The sound of falling water resonates from a custom water feature carefully placed among the plants.  We graded for and installed a circular grass terrace creating space for large gatherings requiring a tent.  Landscape lighting, consisting of both low voltage and metal halide fixtures, give accent and function to evening activities.The end result, for the homeowners who often travel far and wide, is a perfect haven for family and friends.
