Villa dei Fiori

Perched high above the Chesapeake Bay, Villa dei Fiori is a captivating old world-style vacation home inspired by the villas of Tuscany with breathtaking views of gardens, orchards, charming patio and swimming pool.  Working closely with the landscape architect and client over several years we were able to transform this sprawling property into the homeowner’s vision.

Our client has had the opportunity to travel extensively throughout the world and was inspired by Tuscany.  Pictures of favorite places visited were used to capture the striking details incorporated in each of the distinctive gardens.  The property captures many classic old world garden elements including a boxwood knot garden, statuary collected over the years, a prize hybrid Tea Rose garden, Italian Cypress trees, and two pergolas covered in climbing Lady Banks Rose, overlooking the majestic Chesapeake and the client’s vineyard and fig orchard.   Indeed, Villa dei Fiori meticulously brings to life its owners’ dream and expectation- for enjoyment of all who visit this magical piece of Tuscany on the Chesapeake.
