This charming property in St. Michaels, Maryland was purchased by our clients with grandiose vision. Our clients brought us in to prepare a Master Plan for the property that was in keeping with the picturesque appeal of St. Michaels. Preserving the expansive water views and creating outdoor spaces for year-round entertainment was top priority. A swimming pool with a raised brick wall serves as the focal point of the property. Scuppers were strategically installed to provide the calm sound of moving water. A brick forno was designed utilizing matching brick to ensure that it felt intentional. A firepit was designed on center with the loggia and provides users with premier views of the Miles River. Elegant plantings were installed throughout the property to provide year-round interest while not taking away from the beautiful architecture of the home. Travertine was utilized on the pool terrace as well as the loggia and covered porch. The homeowner has a passion for gardening and requested a greenhouse, which was carefully placed to ensure proper sun exposure and access to the nearby potting shed.
